Thought of the day

Devotional Thought

Present Suffering and Future Glory
Scripture for Meditation
Romans 8:18 New International Version (NIV)
18 I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.
As Christians, we must live in this but have hope for a better future with Christ despite current suffering. We must remind ourselves that like Jesus we must focus on the glory set before us.
You be blessed

A DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT for TODAY

The Greatness of God’s Power in us.
Scripture for Meditation
Ephesians 3:20-21 King James Version (KJV)
20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
21 Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
King James Version (KJV)
Public Domain
These verses should encourage us to know that God can do immeasurably more than we could ask or think accordingly to the power that works in and through us. That is an amazing thought to meditate on.
Be Blessed

Devotional Thought for Today: “Workout Your Own Soul Salvation”

Scripture for Meditation – Philp 2:12-13
Philip. 2:12-13 “Work out your own soul salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God that operates in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.” Phillip. 2:12-13. Salvation is a free give from God to those who trust Jesus Christ. But after we receive the gift we must work with God and allow Him to work out in our lives what pleases HIm. And we should do it with reverence and awe. Workout your own soul salvation today by working with God today. Be Blessed,
Pastor MJ Watts
